Straight Edge, a commitment, a statement of intent.
See horrors of addiction with razor sharp contempt.
Abstinence from poisons that lead to apathy.
I will use this mark as a torch to light the way. I will use this clear mind to imagine better days.
But you betray your motives with the selfish things you say.
This is a resistance to unquestioning acceptance.
A rejection of herd mentality, a culture of mediocrity.
This is a refusal to accept the world that has been handed down. I REFUSE.
The militancy, intolerance and blind self righteousness.
These are shackles, leaving our oaths empty and powerless.
The value of straight edge is in the positive changes we can make.
I reject your poisons and your dogma. I will never be like you. this is a promise to myself.
I WILL NEVER BE LIKE YOU.
I watched a video of this band covering a Title Fight song at Sound and Fury fest and it caused me to revisit and rediscover Title Flight. Angel Dust is endlessly fascinating to me because, like Turnstile, they are categorized as hardcore, yet infinitely experimental and unashamed about breaking conventions and incorporating endless other genres and sounds. Bravo! John Isaacson
This album is a 10/10 album when it comes down to this genre, not sure what to call it but just perfection. If you like metal of any kind you have to listen to this whole thing. JJ Peppers (hardscorepups)

On this raging triad of smart, pit-starting confessionals, the Canadian metalcore band ponder just as hard as they pummel. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 13, 2018
Growing up in the Midwest US in the early 2000s, this is a blast to listen to! A total throwback to It Dies Today, Wings of Scarlet, Arkangel, and maybe even some Bleeding Through! Metalcore is still alive, at least in the UK... great work, folks! sam metal xvx
